FAQ’s

How are the mindset sessions conducted?
Mindset sessions can be conducted in two ways: Face-to-face: In-person sessions, where we meet directly. Zoom: Virtual sessions through Zoom, providing the flexibility to join from anywhere.

Are one-off mindset sessions beneficial? One-off mindset sessions can certainly be helpful for gaining clarity, addressing specific challenges, or learning new techniques in a short period of time. They can provide immediate insights, boost motivation, and offer new perspectives. However, for lasting, meaningful change, a block of sessions is generally more effective for a deeper exploration of your mindset, help to reinforce new habits, and provide ongoing support as you work through challenges over time.

What is the difference between mindset coaching and counselling? Mindset refers to the attitudes and thought patterns that shape how we perceive and respond to the world, focusing on shifting internal beliefs for positive outcomes. Counselling, on the other hand, is a therapeutic process that helps individuals address emotional, psychological, or relational issues, focusing on healing and working through challenges. While mindset work helps build a positive outlook and resilience, counselling addresses deeper emotional issues, such as trauma or past difficulties. Together, they form a powerful approach: counselling helps resolve emotional roadblocks, while mindset work supports maintaining lasting positive change and growth.

How long are the mindset sessions? Each session lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the specific needs and goals discussed during the session.

How often should you have mindset sessions? For mindset sessions to be most effective, they are typically spaced weekly or every two weeks. This frequency allows you to consistently build on the work you're doing, stay accountable, and make steady progress in shifting your mindset. However, there’s no reason you can’t revisit mindset sessions after completing a block, especially if you encounter new challenges or blockers along the way. You can always dip back in for additional sessions whenever you feel the need for further guidance or support to overcome obstacles and continue growing.

Can you help with trauma? Currently, I do not offer specific trauma rewiring services. However, I am somatic trauma-informed, which means I have an understanding of how trauma affects the nervous system and mindset. While I may not provide direct trauma rewiring, I am equipped to work with the impacts of trauma, helping you navigate its effects on your thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being. My approach is designed to create a safe, supportive environment for working through the challenges that trauma can present, while focusing on mindset and resilience building.

“Working with Sarah has been truly transformative. She has helped me build confidence in my communication, allowing me to express myself clearly and assertively in both personal and professional settings. More importantly, she has guided me in understanding the reasons behind my reactions to certain circumstances, giving me the tools to navigate challenges with greater self-awareness and control. Her insightful approach and unwavering support have made a huge impact on my mindset, and I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone looking to grow in confidence and self-understanding.”

“My coaching sessions with Sarah have been a key part of my self development journey this year. I worked with Sarah to help with managing my confidence both in the workplace in a high pressure corporate environment, and in sport after a bad accident last year which had physical and mental after effects. Sarah has been a tremendous help working through areas where I needed strategies to navigate difficult situations. Our sessions are giving me the tools to understand patterns of behaviour and putting achievable actions in place to better identify the triggers and ultimately put me on a path to success. I can’t recommend Sarah’s enough t for anyone who needs a little extra help to achieve their goals no matter what area of life that is in.”
